We were on the ball yesterday. Here is a glimpse of our kitchen. I cleaned two rooms and that was good enough for me. Hopefully here soon, the kids and I will tackle the rest of the house. We do have our washer and dryer in our kitchen, but the more time goes on I don't see that as such a bad thing. I took on tip from Kara and do a load of laundry a day. Which, by the end of the day that is all that I have (yes I mix my colors and whites and darks). So much easier! The people who lived here before us left us some tile for the kitchen and bathroom. I'm not sure when, but that is a project that we will one day tackle (and by one day I mean in a year probably).

It looks nice! I like your long counter! Great for projects with the kids or for spreading out while cooking! I can see how it would be pretty handy to have the laundry facilities right there. Saves steps!
