For Halloween, I made both of the kids costumes. it was a blast. I've always had the dream of making my kids costumes and to accomplish that was a great feeling. I ran out of time on Cora's and didn't put buttons on her top. So, Cora was the sous chef and Logan was the chef. Logan's pants were peppers and I have him a mustache (he is checking out in the mirror). Cora had a fall festival theme with her pants. They still wear their hats around the house when they are playing with the play food. I brought home some kid-sized Home Depot aprons and they wear them with their hats. They both like the aprons becuase it has pockets. Cora will put her horses in her pockets and Logan will put his cars in his. It was a very Happy Halloween. (we are still eating candy).

Logan and Jack O'lantern
We didn't do anything too special for our pumpkin faces this year, because neither Cora or Logan had the patience for it. Logan was pretty eager to get the pumpkins carved and cleaned out. Logan helped clean the pumpkin seeds off and put seasoning on them before we put them in the oven. It was a lot of fun.

OH Goodness Cora.
We have been working on potty training Cora. It is going really well. As a way to reward Cora for going potty, we've been painting a finger/toe nail a color of her choosing. Obvioulsy, we were on the color green. I swear I only left the room for a moment to check on Logan. When I came back to the room this is what I found Cora doing.

More of Wormy
It rained really hard one day and the worms all came out of the ground. Cora and Logan were hilarious with them. Neither one of them would pick up the worms, but tried on several occasions. There was one HUGE worm that both of them thought was cool. I managed to get it into the bucket for Logan. Logan carried the bucket around and talked to the worm. By the time I was done playing with the worms the kids were a mess and needed a bath. It took me a whole, at least, 5 minutes to convince Logan that wormy could not come in and get in the tub too. When I said it was bath time, Logan said, "come on wormy."
Wormy
Here is the dialog:
Me: Cora can you get that worm?
Cora: Yea.
Me: Is it big?
Cora: Yea
cora touching worm, cora laughing (worm still on ground)
Logan: I need help get the big one.
Cora: Too hot.
Me: It's hot?
Cora: Yea
Me: I think you're silly.
pausing to think, Cora: Yea
And in the background Logan: here worm, come here worm, here....
Random Cora Again
Ok. I'm sorry i had a bit of a tantrum yesterday at the computer. It is frustrating at times and seems to have a mind of its own. grr. Too bad I can't literatlly put it in timeout. Turning it off makes me feel better though. Ha...I showed you, kind of feeling. I also ended up sewing part of Cora's jumper wrong yesterday, so frustration seemed to be my whole day. In the end I gave up on sewing for the day and trying to compute.
Anyways, Cora has her cute moments.
I'm not too sure if there is a story behind these pictures other than the fact that Cora comes running to the camera anytime she sees it. She mainly loves to look at herself after the picture has been taken.
