Fashion Diva

Unlike myself, Cora loves to be frilly and accessorize. She is all girl!

Lately, Cora prefers to only wear dresses, although I somehow manage to get pants on her. She also likes me to show her all the dresses and let her pick one. Her favorite one so far is this green and pink striped dress with matching bloomers. The day I took this, she has her necklaces on, Logan's backpack on, and her hair up.

Here we have Cora accessorizing naked. We had just gotten done with bathtime and while I was dressing Logan, Cora was running wild through the house. When I turned around I found her still butt-naked putting a necklace on. As you can also see I got as far as putting Logan's undies on him. Oh well.

Easter Morning

So, apparently we didn't hype up Easter bunny thing like we were supposed to because our kids walked right past their baskets and headed to get food. We put Cora's by their bedroom door and Logan's by the back door. We figured if we had them seperated some, it wouldn't be a big fight of who had what. First let me acknoledge and warn any parent that even though the whistles look fun and tempting...DON'T DO IT...WALK AWAY. The didn't figure out the whistles until later in the day, and for some reason I thought I had actually gotten away with it and that they wouldn't figure it out. hahaha. They have since mysterously disappered. Cora got big girl undies, which I haven't fully tried out yet due to lack of energy, will. She also recieved plastic beaded necklaces that have been the biggest hit. She wears them everywhere. Logan got some cool cars that I dug from the cereal boxes and hid and some glow-in-the-dark really really cool Lightening McQueen undies that he would wear everyday, clean or dirty, if I allowed him to. Cora even thought they were cool and pleaded to wear a pair over her undies. I couldn't resist. Unfortunatly I didn't take a picture. Oops.
Other things going on: we went to the library today for storytime and then did the painting activity. Cora ended up really upset because she got it all over her hands, face, and mouth. In the split second I went to help Logan this happened; of course. Logan was enjoying painting so much that he painted until there was only one kid besides him painting and that was because her mom was helping clean-up. It must have worn him out, or by some freak accident, because both Cora and Logan are currently sleeping.

CHEESE!

Cora became a goof-ball after we colored eggs. She was so excited about coloring eggs "by herself." I let her put the eggs in and get the eggs out, which is partly why Logan talked on and on about the eggs having "boo-boos." She was disappointed that the eggs were all colored and the activity was over. She got over it pretty quickly once the camera came out though.
